When are we?

I assume it is winter, because the sky is darker than usual. I couldn´t even tell what year it is. Why would I carry around such arbitrary information. Thats just semantics. The cloud kept track of such, so I didn´t need to.
Now that the cloud is gone, i have lost most of my points of refference, I didn´t store any of my data locally, why would I? The cloud promised an unlimited exchange of information.

I got this strange device long ago. I dont know how to opperate it, or if it even still works. Maybe it was affected by the blackout. It´s supposed to tell time i was told.
